Duncan Murdoch is Partner and Chief Investment Officer at SilverBox Capital, with over 20 years of private equity experience and a track record leading investment teams across sectors and capital structures. Before joining SilverBox and its predecessor, Boxwood Capital, Duncan spent 17 years at Macquarie Capital in New York, where he was Senior Managing Director, Co-Head of the Principal Transactions Group US, and Co-Head of the Industrials Group. He has led and overseen investments in infrastructure, business services, energy transition, environmental services, aerospace, and consumer sectors, and has served on the boards of companies including Smarte Carte, Icon Parking, Utility Service Partners, Brek Manufacturing, DNEG, Anaergia, MST Global, and Skis Rossignol.
Duncan holds an MBA from Stanford University and Bachelor’s degrees in Law (First Class Honors) and Economics from the University of Sydney
