Jin Chun is Partner of SilverBox Capital, with over 20 years of experience as a private equity investor and in building new growth platforms. Before joining SilverBox, he spent more than 15 years at Macquarie Capital as Managing Director in principal investing, leading investments across technology, financial services, infrastructure, travel, leisure, and gaming sectors. Jin also led Macquarie’s SPAC sponsorship and investing effort, as well as leading a number of other strategic initiatives. Earlier, he worked in industrial M&A at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein.

Jin has served on boards of a number of public and private companies, including American Express Global Business Travel, Atlas Technical Consultants, Inspired Entertainment, and Yatra Online.  He currently serves on the board of Read Ahead, Inc, a non-profit organization that provides mentoring to New York City public school students.

Jin holds a Master of Finance with Distinction from INSEAD and a B.S. from Columbia University.
