Matt Godden has 20 years of experience in the maritime industry driving growth, instilling operational excellence, and bringing M&A transaction acumen to the companies he served.

Matt is currently President, CEO, and Board Member of Centerline Logistics, positions he has held since 2019 after serving as Centerline’s SVP and COO starting in 2015. During his tenure, he led Centerline through a corporate restructuring and completed multiple acquisitions, leading to Centerline becoming a premier US coastal marine petroleum transportation operator.  From 2008-2014, Matt owned and operated Focus Technology, a mid-market consulting firm specializing in system and operational diligence, strategic planning, and corporate carve-outs for large private equity firms and investment banks, where he primarily focused on the sale and transition of complex transportation businesses. Prior to this, he was Vice President at Centerline Logistics going back to 2000.

Matt is a former member of the executive team of the Blue Sky Maritime Coalition and previously served as a board member of the American Waterways Operators (AWO).
